Bill,
It's not something in the gall bladder, it is the bladder itself. Has something to do with the muscles of the bladder trying to squeeze harder than the bladder can withstand.
I'll know more on Monday.

Good Morning,

As some of you know, I have been having health issues. Posted Image
It seems my heart has decided to quit working efficiently. eventually causing Posted Image
In an effort to prevent this, I will be going in for testing tomorrow.
They're going to run tubes into my heart and poke around and see what they can see.
I've had many tests already, but none of them were invasive like this.

I'm mostly pissed off because I went through an entire lifestyle change to avoid these issues.
My paternal family line has been plagued with heart problems.
All the men as far back as history can find, have died from heart attack.
All of my brothers (2 younger, 1 older) have had some sort of mild and one extreme attack.
I am 49 and have dodged this bullet longest.
I made it this far without having a cardiologist in my list of doctors, now I have 2. :ermm:

If they find something that is repairable, I have already given permission for them to fix what they find.Posted Image
If they find nothing, then we look elsewhere in the body.
There are many subsystems that can affect the heart and its function.
It may be as simple as a thyroid issue that requires medication to overcome or as bad as renal shut down.
They may find I have had small attacks that have left dead areas in the heart muscle.
These are not fixable (yet), so I have to learn how to deal.
There is study going on into the use of stem cells to regenerate heart muscle tissue and HGH research into making the remaining muscle strong enough to compensate for the dead spots.
I would have no problem offering my self as a guinea pig for either of these.

:bigpop
Stay tuned, I'll let you know more after I get back.

My thoughts and prayers are with you friend. The guinea pig deal hopefully isn't as risky as it sounds but if there's no other alternative, can't blame you one bit.

Wow.... I am sorry to hear that. Let me know if I can help in any way. You are not alone, I know many who over come one medical problem to have 2 more pop up and in many cases worse than the original. Its like fixing a geo. You replace a dying battery, then the alt goes. You replace the alt and the head lamps both blow at the same time and so on.

I just had my doc approve me for full time work, but said my 71 year old quadaplegic mother is in better shape than I. At least I am finally under 300lbs. :)

Fastest Hampster EVER

HGH.......?????????? Well the only thing I can relate on that area is some of the commercials I have seen locally hocking some sort of wonder pill that turns a 70 year old geezer into an Adonis. Really spectacular results on the outside, but they NEVER say what results are for the insides.

Yep, if you family history is bad, then why not become the guinea pig. I'd rather go out fighting than sit in a bed worring when the Big One will hit me.

Before you go "under the knife" check out the hospital facility and their nursing staff. Seems that when my dad passed away, he contracted sepsis from the kidney tube being taken out too soon after the operation. The nursing staff were very nice, just incompetent. I had a nursing friend confirm the sorry state of nursing at this particular hospital.

Go in with your eyes wide open, Schultz. I for one am wishing you VERY GOOD LUCK with what ever ailes you. May God keep you on this planet until He decides to call you home. Hopefully it will be several, several years away.

God bless.

I'm home!
no news to report.

All went well.
no problems found. No blockages, no necrosis, all muscle tissue intact and ready for work.
----------however-------
The odd blips on my EKG and some of the cause of my loss of breath and heart function have been identified as Ventricle Fibrillation. I went into V-Fib while they were poking around in there. Doc probably p-ssed off the electrician on duty.
This occurs when the ventricle stops pumping normally :cheers and cycles way too quickly to move fluid. Posted Image
The big chambers of the heart are just fluttering in the breeze as it were.
No physical repairs needed, I need an electrician for this job.

It's a simple fix.
I get to wear an implanted defibrillator for the rest of my life. I'm gonna be a hybrid.
Then I just plug it in every night and I'm ready for driving the next day. I wonder if I can find a battery on the web to increase out put?

I go see a different cardiologist in a week and we will schedule some more tests to determine which defib to use. Then a quick hospital stay so they can put her in, then back to life as normal.
