Paul How are things?

Give us a system check?
- Pump
- exhaust
- grabber
No posts here for a while.

Good news all around;

Pump;
33% - 6 months ago,
was expecting 35% to 40% for the this check up. (Monday the 4th)
Hit 45%
A healthy adult (no heart issues, or other known problems) only moves 60% of the blood in the chamber. an athlete in a high cardio sport, (Lance Armstrong) can get as high as 65%.
After congestive heart failure, with no other factors, average recovery to 45% is 18 to 24 months. Some patients never recover that far.
So-
I'm pretty stoked about that. I will regain enough cardiovascular strength to run another marathon.
I was so happy, I danced to the car from the office. I took the day off from work, I was too high spirited, the other employees couldn't have handled it.
My doc was so impressed, he set me from 6 month check to 1 year.

Haven't had an issue with the exhaust, except for the occasional backfire. (which, I have noticed, is directly related to the fuel used)

Grabber;
----well----
after trying to cut my left thumb off,
---twice---,
in 5 months, (!!!!!!!!DUMBASS!!!!!!!!)
I have regained better than 80% range of motion.

3 days a week, I'm up to running 2 miles at once, I can walk all day long, ask my dog or grandson, I can wear them both out.
not enough for the marathon yet,
but enough for a 5K. (with a short walk at the end)
3 opposite days of the week,
I'm doing 5 straight pull ups,
50 regular push ups,
3 sets of 10 curls with 30# and 3 sets of 20 curls with 10#.
Every day I sling at least 2 truck tires, the old fashioned way, by hand, on purpose, cause I'm a glutton for punishment, and, my back hurts less now than 10 years ago.
last night was 4.

Good to hear. I need to move near you so I can enroll in your program. :rocker

My father was ranked by the blockage, he was upto 98% last they checked and his heart was out of rythm.

I started the year off breaking 2 bones in my right foot and the doctors say I got the bones of a 80 year old. I need to go for more tests and treatments and now they are second guessing my first diagnoises of the muscular disease. :coffee

Mark,
Have the docs discussed any of the bone density drugs? Boniva, Prolia, Fosamax, Reclast, etc.
Or maybe supplements.
I have a prescription for potassium and regular OTC calcium+D keeps me in the desired range. and I live on supplements since the surgery. I have always healed quickly and I don't bleed much. So maybe I have a slight advantage with those and my own stubbornness.
