CB - yea you could diet the weight off. I've tried diets, then I rebound and put the weight back on. Now I can't over eat. Right now I can't even eat normally.

Bogs - Scary part is over, and I didn't really think about it then.

I think there are a lot of us older types here 90Metro. The young guns need to remember to not get fat in the first place.

Thanks for the well wishes guys.

260# this am. That is 25# gone since I started on the clear liquids before surgery, or 15# since last Wednesday.
I keep pulling my shirt up over my shoulders. It is so big it falls like a poncho.

is right.
258# this morning.
Walked 6 blocks yesterday.
Still can't handle solid food.
Kinda disappointed about that.
The doctors said after 2 weeks I should be able to.
Oh well, all will come in time.
Be nice to chew on something though.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled a week ago...it's not fun not being able to eat.

Best of luck.

Sounds like chewing is not the problem, just don't swallow. :thumb

Anything masticated 150-200 times should disintegrate. :lol

Think giant Flintstones vitamins for grownups.

Thanks for the laugh CB, My wife came to see what was going on I laughed so hard.

Laughter has long been considered the best medicine, just don't rip your stitches doing it ;) Congrats on the BP readings, mine have never been that low <sigh>.

I did'nt see this until today. I appreciated your responding to my question about bearing sizes. Now I really, really appreciate it. Sounds like things are improving slowly, but steadily. A friend of mine up in the DC area had this proceedure a few months ago. The first few weeks were tough, but he seems back to normal now. Or at least as normal as he ever gets. Hang in there. We're pulling for you.

Oh my, blood pressure. Don't get me started.

December of 08: 5'6" 130lbs. Squat: 285lbs Bench: 195 BP: 165/100
August of 2010: 5'6" 150lbs. Squat: ...lol Bench:...lol BP: 120/78

I gained 20 lbs, lost any and all muscle I had built up from playing football, and my BP finally lowered to a reasonable level. Guess what changed.

All plugs out, throttle wide open?

Squirt some oil on it and test again.
