Seems that someone will not be able to turn if you weld them gears up. The Geo just does not have the power to get one tire to break traction for making a turn. Now if this is for the dirt, ... Weld Away!

I welded the gears in a pickup for a customer once. He shattered the spiders. Then he didn't want to pay for repairs or a used replacement. I charged him $150 to do the job and that was in 1996. I still see him and the truck from time to time. And it still chirps the outside wheel going around the corners. I wonder what his tire life is like? |
