I was jacking up the front of my 97 metro to replace the steering rack and struts and decided to jack it up by the front crossmember so i could get both wheels up at the same time, it started to make a crunching noise and cave in so i stopped and inspected it, its rotted pretty bad on the bottom side, the rest of the car is solid besides the rocker panels, even where the control arms are secured to are pretty good. Is this a concern and should I replace this some how, is it possible to replace? |

My 1998 model is rotted out at the radiator support. I learned not to jack it up there. As long as the radiator is not gonna fall out, run it. |
