On the short coarse today. Several of the guys trying to get into the 130 club, missed it by less than .25mph So close. Same thing for several of the guys shooting for the 150 club. That kid from Min. Was one of the guys just short I think. But he will have great stories to tell his friends and kids. Well, once he has some that is

Man I just got back from seeing Three Dog Knight. They kicked ass. There are still 4 of the original guys left. They sound really good. Its funny. I did not see very many young faces there. But there were a few. And until the last 4 songs. Most of the people must have forgotten it was a Rock Concert. Its hard to believe these are the same people that rocked out to this music when it was new. Have they forgotten how to Rock and Roll?

They made some great music. Glad to hear they are still around and playing. Where were they originally from? I once heard an interesting story about the odd lyrics "Jeremy was a bullfrog." I heard those lyrics were merely filler words atop the music that were sung merely while getting the instrumental stuff refined. But they stuck... Might be an urban legend. Hmmmm. Google..... I guess it is NOT an urban legend:

I believe they said they were from LA. Back in the mid to early 60s. They still are making their music sound great. They even worked up a rap verion of one of there songs. I think it was Momma told me not to come. They pulled it off great. For guys with slate gray hair. I roared laughing so hard. It was worth the drive

What kind of HP numbers are required to make a Metro do 130? (totally off topic)

Sorry CB I don't have the maths skills to figure that one out. There is also the drag coeffient of the salt. It changes for day to day. Year to year. You can here some of the very fast cars lose traction a mile out or more. You know it traction loss when you hear that engine srceamin along, and then wind up my tighter then back down to only screamin again. I am getting ready to take off for the NW again. I can't take the sun one more day. I had a great time. Gonna see if I can't get back a little faster. I only went 60mph here. Take care and I will post more shots later.

I have stopped for the night, in Susanville, CA. It seems they are having a major Hot Rod event today. A lot of 32 Fords. Sville is right where the desert hits the tree line. I can't wait to get back near the ocean.
