...1.5 years later....
You'd hope that a lot might get accomplished in that amount of time; well, it depends on what front. This Metro, not so much...

Here's that long needed shot of the engine bay, filled back up quite nicely.

And, what I'm hoping is a really nice touch for the cooling system, what should hopefully keep things no-maintenance in this area for hundreds-of-thousands of miles.

A pre-idea for using some of the other interior compartment space(s).

Door-speaker adapter, made form 1-1/4 Plywood, and it can be shaped enough to fit under the door panels just fine.

nice job. that rear brace for the trailer hitch is just what i did so many years ago. i used one piece of plate and burned holes to lighten it but the same idea. it's worked very well. also ran iron forward similar to your design.

Regarding the Evans cooling waterless system, the thermal conductivity is 1/3 that of regular coolant (50%), about the same as 90% propylene glycol. :hmm

There are multiple products out there like that stuff. And they all are like 70+ or more one of those 'glycols'.

The General tires look quite amazing on there too... tread depth & pattern.
Got the Herculiner'd bumpers put on the car today too... some more pictures need to be taken and posted!
