1994 Metro Speaker location?; where do they go?

Hey Guys!
I have a 94 metro. According to what I have been told, this car has speaker locations in the dash board. The only holes in the dash for anything at all is the ac vents.
Its a 2 door model, so I looked in the front doors. No hole for speakers there either. The back side panel has speaker vents and wires inside, but no place to mount speakers inside. The back hatch has openings for speakers in the steal and a opening in the back panel, but no wires.
This is a model that came from the factory with no radio at all.
How do i hook up factory type speakers in this car when there is no visible signs of a place to put them?

Thanks

Just to the left of the hood release, you will see a cover. Remove the screws and the speaker is in there. If not, get 4" speakers and mount. Wiring should all be there.

Welcome to the forum, Fastvan67! :coffee

My '91 has speaker grill in the dash, on top, near the windows, both sides, facing up. They look like A/C vents.

There were no rear speakers so I cut holes and mounted them. I cut the mount hole just large enough for the speaker, then marked and drilled the pilot holes for sheet metal screws. You could fabricate a backing plate of sheet metal if you wanted.

On the '96 I mounted door speakers the same way and used a steel mesh cover because they tend to get kicked when exiting the car. :banghead
