My download is usually much faster, maybe my wife is streaming something. Yes, multiple computers and Ipods on this connection.

I did a test. I found a USB Y cable that I used to use with an older car. It has two ends that plug into the USB ports in order to provide more power to the aircard.
Lo and behold it works like I thought it would.
I am now getting speeds as high as 1.5 Mbps.
