What do you guys think about Hillary Clinton's trip to the UN to talk about an American ban on guns? She want world peace with a gun ban. She wants us to get rid of our firearms like Australia, Japan Canada, ect. If this happens then the only people with guns are criminals and the police and not the citizens who need protection. I was watching the news some time ago and they did an interview with a person connected to Al-Qaeda. In this interview he was asked why they haven't invaded our country and his comment was we are armed. The citizens are armed and would have to slip in the back door. Like 9/11.

No way, 2nd amendment guarantees the right, and there's no way they're going to get enough people supporting the repeal of that.

They aren't going to get rid of guns in the U.S. Its in the constitution plus HC was probably just playing politics. No politician is really going to push for a ban on guns

A lot of the time you hear one politician say another politician wants to get rid of guns its just a scare tactic. Do you honestly think the govt. could get rid of guns. lol don't think so.

They already have. You own a fully automatic weapon or a sawed off shotgun you are commiting a felony. I hear some say well its in the constitution, doesnt matter. We have judges that do not rule by law on the bench now. You are subject to see anything!

They haven't gotten rid of guns. You can still own a shotgun, handgun, rifle. There are restrictions though that have been in place for a long time due to the safety of other americans such as no fully automatic rifles. Those.....imo are good restrictions.

Its these restrictions that will grow and grow and grow until you have a amendment and you wont be able to own a peashooter.

Canada's gun laws are not nearly as strict as everyone thinks. People have guns in Canada.

Either way, even if somehow firearms were banned in the USA, nobody would enforce it in fear of retaliation. It would simply end up in another civil war.

Reducing and making laws against guns is not the answer. Chain gangs and busting that butt with a strap is part of the answer but no, were too civilized for that. Why do people rob and steal and shoot people when doing it? Because they want to gain something by stealing it and not working for it. So what is the one thing a thief does not want to do? Work. That is exactly what he would be doing on the chain gang. Make them do what they dont want to do and work and in so doing helping society at the same time with clean ditches and repaired roads. After a few years on the chain gang and the threat if another crime is commited and you are caught you will spend even longer time on the gang.

Australian's said the same thing and it did happen! They went house to house and by force took guns. As for Canada I don't know all the details but it makes owning a gun hard. In Canada self defense in not a valid reason for owning a gun. I know it's in the constitution that we have the right to bear arms but it can change and others have a different interpretation of what this means. For example some believe it means the military and not the citizens. I'm saying it will happen but it could. The govt could slip it in a bill like they do and no one would even know. Like the new defense bill they slipped in immigration in the back door of this bill. I have done most of my homework but maybe hard to convey it as I type slow. If you are not registered to vote then you should be! There have been other constitutional amendments in the past why do you find it hard to believe it couldn't happen again and with a gun ban.

In australia there are 20 mil people. In america there are 300 million. It would be a lot harder. You cant just slip in a bill getting rid of guns. It would have to be the 28th amendment. a lot harder. It has to be accepted by 3/4s of the states or congress. Its not going to happen.
As of right now the dems cant even get 2/3s to pass any of the bills they want. and as of the defense bill that needs to be passed whether it has the ban on dadt or not. The whole thing about guns is just fear mongering. Just don't get a felony and don't kill someone and you should be fine
