I got alot of work done yesterday ![]() I need to get another wiring diagram for the 93 cause i dont trust Haynes and they're "typical" wiring diagrams . from what i've seen Mitchel has the most accurate so my roomate will bring one home with him tonight. I have all my new sensor hooked up ![]() oil pressure & temp ![]() coolant temp I gutted the Relief valves And Hooked a up bypass valve for the turbo. now when the throttle plate shut it wont drop the air in atmosphere instead is redirects it back to the pre-turbo intake. I used a MKII up pipe from the compressor side because is already has the nipple for a hose. BUT i have to be creative with the hood cause its no going to close. its th L shaped thing coming down from the intercooler![]() ![]() And this is the ghetto dash set up... it makes me happy on many levels ![]() |

looking really good man! If you come across a cheap front mount intercooler you should get it, most people notice decent gains versus using the top mount one. |

i am experimenting with a free side mount VW from a 1.8t. its dimension are slightly bigger but the core almost 2x as thick. that i may front mount or top i donno if it doesn't work a will mos def get long front mount i may have to find a GT bumper to get better airflow to it. haha oh and there is a front mount @ the local wreckers sitting in a 90 or so turbo sprint it might be wrecked though ...

I dont want to up the amps on the 87 ECM which is 10A and the 93 ECM runs on a 15A circuit. so i spliced the 87 ECM power into the back up lighst power thats a 10A circuit hope it works... its all gets power @ the same time anyway. all the wiring is so damn tedious and the starter/alternator circuits are going slow. but after this all i have to do is molest the hood unless i can find a front mount IC and do the exhaust which is going to be 2" turbo back with a cherry bomb glasspack and side piped on passenger side so i can hear it can bounce off stuff and make me happy :D. YAY! more late nights

THIS is what i like to hear! I wanna do this with mine, i just dont think i will have clearance because i lowered the thing so much. I think i will fab up a side pipe anyways to try it out. |

Mine could be moved up so its sitting right below the body, I just need to fab up a better mount for the tip, the setup I had on hand makes it sit very low, but it is flexible.

nice side piping! here is what i have going so far for exhaust ![]() oh and if any body is interested, if i make an order for ten or more of those down pipe adapters for 2" they are $30 pop ![]() ![]() i just got to do the elbow and then finish all the welds but i am REALLY lazy today. I also found a front mount intercooler from a 92 supra for $40 ![]() ![]() i like it for 3 reasons 1- i dont have to up the tubing size to much 2- it font mount an fits perfectly 3- its black so its more of a sleeper look. "i donno about racing that metro man is got a big intercooler " anyway is all wired except for gounds Edited by GodlessHeathan, Oct 8 2010, 10:21 PM.

Please just call me; "Schultz"

The larger (10mm) line is fuel to the engine. The smaller (8mm) is return to the tank. |

I like that look, I was gonna do that on mine, but ended up making it go out the back instead. Maybe in the future. |
