as for detergent I DO NOT WANT to smell the detergent. I want my clothes clean not chemically scented :-)
With you 100% there Nerys, except I extend it to everything. I don't need every F-ing product to have a lingering scent. I stand there in the laundry chemicals isle shaking my head. Detergent has a scent, fabric softener has a scent, dryer sheets have a scent, and you end up with a triple strong smell of mud.

Do you wash them out and reuse them?
No, that would be silly. I do turn them inside out and use the other side though. Gotta save the planet.

You're 31 and you already got snipped...and don't wear deodorant?
Seems to me you would only need one or the other.

Photo of my dog, Molly in her Fisher Price pool over the summer. And, no, she's not a "Metrologist" (yet)...

tp scott 3000 or dollar general (compares to scott 3000). the only tp i can keep in the house for more than a few weeks. laundry detergant dynamo. they have a sale at meijer sometimes buy one get 2 free for around $13 total. can't pass that up. for stains or foul smells, oxyclean and color safe bleach. the wife got me into that. mom swears by stain stick (in the spray bottle) for tough grease stains. it works good if you catch it before the offending stain is washed.

For tough stains (oil, etc) on clothes, I immediately use dish soap to pre-treat. Works great -- as long as you catch it right away.

You two must not get much? ;)

I do agree too many scents do suck, but a decently fresh smelling shirt is nice.
