Well I thought I'd update you all on my 97 metro hatchback. I recently bought a used engine, now i'm waitng for my parts from rock auto to arrive. I have ordered a new t-belt, water pump, thermostat, 2 cam seals, rear main seal and 2 outer cv boots . While I have the engine out i'm also gonna have a go at fixing the rust on the frame . When the parts do finally come in, I hope to have the time to get this engine swap complete . So far its been alot of fun, just a little slow going as I don't want to rush it . I will keep you all updated, and have some pics soon to follow. I hope . Still can't figure out how to post pictures properly . :banghead Haha It's funny though, the beer always taste better after I 've done some work on the car. :beer :beer Ok that's only 2 beers now, the wife says that's 2 too many . LOL Peace WJ

Well the frame repair is finally done, the first pictures are the spot welds. The second ones are the final pass w/gorilla welds. I'm hoping they last, I had a friend who works in collision repair advise on the gorilla welds and he said it should hold. But I got my fingers crossed, on that one. I will also undercoat all the repair areas and patch the one burn out hole. Also. theres the photo of my 8 year old linclon welder used maybe 8 or 10 times. The sheetmetal is 12 or 14 gauge and the setting was at the H on the knob. In other areas, it was adjusted in accordance to where I was welding ie sheetmetal to sheetmetal or sheetmetal to unibody. Well, tell me what you all think ? All comments are welcomed. Next on the agenda is installation of my parts from rock auto. I'll get to it tommorow night, just don't want to lose the momentum I'm feeling right now. Here's the pictures My Webpage
