Hey all,
I recently went through my local junk yard and ran across a pretty nice '98 metro with 67k on the clock. The only thing that is wrong from what I can see is the frame is rotted. Has anyone ever attempted to fix this? Can it be done? What do you guys think? I was going to see if they would sell me the whole car and see if I could fix it. Your thoughts please. Below is a link to the pics.

If the price were right I would buy that as a donor and get a second one to start swapping parts into.

Check out what snowfish did; Little Red With Heart.

Welders can be bought for around $200, and you will need gloves, a good helmet, grinder (drill and wheel) plus maybe a more protective leather apron but it can be done. :thumb
