Too much work in my opinion.
You would need the wiring, computer, sensors, the right brake lines, the abs hubs due to the speed sensors. the abs distribution block. etc. You would spend more money on the parts.. and thats before counting the labor/hours of work needed to install everything.

A complete donor car would be needed and extensive work. I actually prefer no ABS because my beer gut hides them :thumb

Seriously, do you need ABS on a car that pretty much already stops on a dime? I actually never drove one with ABS and tested the system, but I know for a fact these cars stop in a shorter distance than most other comparable cars.

yea I just replaced my brakes....still not quite perfect, but it stops great and once you find out the "sweet spot" in the brake pedal, you won't need abs

Upgrade your tires first.

Stickier tires will make far more difference in braking capability than anything else you could do.
