Have not announced the date yet, but most likely around the end of July. I am not using the same place as last year. I am working on something different.

How about downtown Detroit? That's not too far from Ashtabula.

I will be held in NE Ohio as usual. I have another campground in mind which is pretty decent and the "residents" are nowhere near the regular campers.

LOL yeah restroom facilities were lacking... It looks like I'll be moving to texas next month for work so geopalooza east may be a no-go for me next year, will have to wait and see though. I'll drive if I can get the time off.

Fastest Hampster EVER

How about a North, South, East, and West venue. Smack dab in the middle of the country so everyone has an opportunity to drive for a day to attend. I understand that JM is the ring leader but keep in mind the West coasters and southerners are at a tremendous disadvantage due to nothing in their control. Driving 20+ hours is a little unrealistic due to work schedules.

But since this is JM's site, he will get the final deciding vote.

I vote for Branson MO as the Geopalooza site for 2011 due to its central location, lots of campgrounds, and fun family oriented attractions. The downside is the awful traffic. Plus it has Bass Pro shops nearby.
