Did a search but couldn't find anything. My dash pad is in pretty bad shape in my 90 xfi. Do I have to remove the entire dash to get to the bolts or whatever holds it on? If so how hard is it? |

I saw these threads during my search but they are for 91 and later. The 89-90 models have a different design. Just wandering. |

I thought 89-91 were all the same. Well then, let's hope someone else can help. The earliest FSM I have is for 91. ![]() |

Not that it's changed but I have old pics because it's raining out, dark and my camera doesn't take good pics of the interior for some reason, flash or not. Thumbnails...![]() '96 dash carpet cover.

Looks cool. That's probably a lot better option than removing the dash.

I have removed the dash from a 92-94 car in the junkyard. it was NOT that hard (though putting it BACK ON would be a lot harder) while they appear to be different pieces its pretty clear they were never intended to be separable easily and definitely not while still attached to the car. if might be possible to MAKE IT 2 pieces and then anytime you get a new dash you just mod it to work with your 2 part attachment system. |
