Wahoo!!! :rocker

With a 5 speed I will leave it in 4th for a bit more power, around 4,000 rpm for 45-55 but 3rd will get me up to 65 mph. :D

Might want to take a look at DIY alignment

Man I wish I was lucky enough to have a set of rims like yours sitting around :( for some reason, they make the car look bigger than it is, it almost looks like a cavalier sitting on those :hmm

Rims are mandatory for metro's it COMPLETELY alters the very appearance of these little cars from "meh" to WOW. they should have never released them with steelies it REALLY improves the appeal of them so much.

that is a BEATER man. I can not wait for more updates as you make it a Cherry. its coming along great. hell the $300 was worth it just for the rims I bet you can sell them for that much come spring.

haha yeah the rims made a HUGE difference ! in order for them to fit right i had to roll the rear fenders was scraping the tires pretty bad and putting nasty cuts in my new tires around sharp turns.. and with my plans of lowering her i knew it was going to be needed.

rear end repairs will start come spring.. but first im thinking a 5speed swap... it would make me love my metro so much more if it was 5speed!

That does sound good. :thumb Think about a glasspack when you decide to add a muffler.
I know they used to be able to be installed in California. :) Just a thought.
