That does sound good. :thumb Think about a glasspack when you decide to add a muffler.
I know they used to be able to be installed in California. :) Just a thought.
yep a glasspack is what ive decided on doing. going to get rid of the stock resonator and replace the muffler with a glasspack .. should sound loud and good :D

I LOVE THEM RIMS YUTE!! :drool

BUT here's the deal: You need lower profile tyres for these rims. Thats why they are rubbing when you turn. You need some 50 series or lower tyres. If you really plan to lower it as you say then thats a MUST!

Did I tell you those rims are hot?? I did?? Kool!

Obviously you dont plan to carry passengers in your back seats?? (Cant have em steppin on your amps yute) :lol Tidy up your wiring though. It would be terrible if you snagged something and shorted out the system. Gimme some specs on the amps as well. I might be able to throw you some more tips where your sound is concerned ... Thats a nice sub you got there too.

This is a very good build. I hope you plan to go through with the manual tranny swap. Thats REAL driving right there!! It makes the car lighter as well. :drivin

Will be following this closely :thumb :thumb

haha i love them too... i know they need lower profiles but they only rub a little bit on a sharp uturns and there brand new so not changing them until there worn!

haha actully people do ride in the backseat! when my little sister goes places in it she sits on the side with the amp as her feet are to short to step on it and when i take her out of the car seat i lift her out!

my amp is a 600watt profile amp (has been mistaken for ppi ) its a A600, (people thought it was the ppi 600XL) its from the mid 90s i would say... only has 2 adjustments 1 knob for gain and one switch for subwoofer crossover... i have it bridged running to the sub... though with some really thin like house sterio speaker wire >< i couldnt find my 12 gauge at the time but i found it last week so i will be swaping that out.. , im using 10GA amp power wire, and a 10GA ground wire, standerd RCAS from the deck to the amp and i dont know what else to list about it lol...

the sub is audiobahn i "think" its 400watts RMS but dont remember .... everything was free haha.. the amp was in the trunk of my accord when i bought it hooked up to nothing... and i found the sub box in a trash can... and the sub in another haha... though the sub works fine :D

and yeah im planing on doing the 5speed later on this year. once everything else is taken care of!

gotta take her in for a smog check next week :x

just thought id post a little update, well the brakes have sucked since i bought the car and started dragging making the worse sounds you could hear for the past 2 weeks and barely stoping so yesterday i picked up a new set of pads! the old ones were cracked all over the place and worn down to nothing!!! (will post some pics soon) while i was in there i greased up the sliding pins and the brake piston with some white lithium grease (do it every time i do a brake job)... and god Almighty i got in that car and gave it half throttle and it spun out!! those brakes had to be really dragging!!! , also if i hit the brakes now the car stops! :D gotta love it haha but yeah hoping to see an improvement on gas millage if i can get rid of my heavy right foot with the new found power haha

rebuilt the starter today without buying new parts lol just cleaned everything and sanded the contacts and stretched the spring a bit to add more tension and it seems to of worked! hopefully it lasts as it would be nice to save $120. also removed the ac belt since its winter and the ac system needs some work
