I have a quick question for anyone who can help me wit it. One of the vents of my daughter's geo metro has a broken ac vent, the small wheel that moves the vent up and down fell off and it is loose inside the vent and I can't reach it so I guess i might have to take the dash board off which I hate to do but will if necessary, I'm not sure how to remove that dash board as I don't see but a couple of screws and i don't want to start something I can't finish so if any member here has ever remove the dashboard on a 91 geo metro please give some pointers on how to do it, I will certainly appreciate it. |

Is it the one in the center or on the right and left. You should be able to get the end ones out without taking the dash out. they are secured by a raised area on the side of the vent. That being between the dash and the vent housing. The aie duck on the backside of the dash slips over the vent housing. Pull it off and work the vent housing out. The moveable vent slats can be taken out by using lite pressure on the inside pushing out. The slats hace a round pin on the end and fit into a hole in the vent housing. |
