**WARNING THIS THREAD CONTAINS COLORFUL LANGUAGE**

Oh K ive decided to go ahead and start up Taylors Project thread...

this is a continued thread from the Meet Taylor page in Pictures/Videos this one has all of her beauty shots lol

http://geometroforum.com/topic/3897392/

so heres what we got so far

PLEASE IN YOUR 1st responses leave a vote on what i say " VOTE ON IT " because im not 100% shure on what i should do.

89 Suzuki Swift GTI

Bad head due to a Broken cam

Havent a clue what the bottom end looks like

but a full scale rebuild will be takeing place SOON

stuff that needs to be fixed/checked

A/C (dunno if it works and its R12... damn it.)
power mirrors (dont work at present)
rear defrosters (dont know if it works
Fog lamps (dont work)

now to stuff i know i need AKA broken Parts/missing parts (no i dont have the money RIGHT NOW but i will be thinking of you when i do neeed them)

3rd Break lamp (DONE)
Turn signal assembly with headlamp switch (GOT IT!!)
hood release lever (the inside one) (GOT IT)
and eventualy id like to get the top part of the door pannel on the drivers side.... its got a big crack in it. (GONNA FIX IT unless someone is gracious enough to come off one)

Stuff id like to get/do to the car

another Shift knob and boot (got it, and installed)
sunroof ( vote failed but i may do it anyway if Geo pet can hook me up)
strut tower braces both front and rear from Turbine tech (TT out of buisness looking to ebay)
frame brace from turbine tech (Got it)
Header from somewhere (im scared to go to SRD and my local muffler shops most likely wont do it.)
3tech Head Package (cams will be 3tech head will be a gasket match port job done by yours truly
a Chip from Sandro ( if he still makes them)
New Stereo
exhaust cut outs ;) no voteing its happening. B-) (no its not.. 2" pipe to a glass pack resonator and a flowmaster
series Delta flow)
Rims (got em)
Restore the paint job by Buffing
vote failed since the collor is kinda a red im thinkin of doing either semi gloss black Flames to the fenders and might be going to the doors (by a flame artist) or 2 decent sized full car Raceing stripes... also in black.... im open also to Ghost flames (in a reasonable color) or just LEAVE IT THE HECK BE

Vote failed hood scoop LOL im thinkin about it but it might be a little over the line. kinda like 90 Metros' hood scoop but painted to match the car.

thats all i can think of right now

Ill have Pics of a few things later.

PLS all feed back is welcome...

I'm terrible at following directions.

Sunroof: yes
Hood scoop: get one from a t3, and make it work as a legit one.

:smackface i forgot to say that I cant give up my GTi hood... if i do a T3 scoop it will have to be a cut and paste job... this will be N/A engine..... For now ;) so it will be tough to make it work as a legit scoop... but i understand your theory.

what about the Paint scheme, black Stripes, black flames, ghost flames in a reasonable color or leave it alone?

I'm not good at these trick questions and opinion polls :banghead :lol

Vote on it. If you have A/C the sunroof will be an alternative to the A/C or just a fashion statement. B-) I like it as a fashion statement and it could cut down a little on the A/C power drain but add a little drag which is not conductive to "go fast."

VOTE ON IT

I'd make it your resume - you work in a body shop - do your best talents on your car and expand your skills. :thumb

If this is going to go fast a hood scoop shouldn't cause to much turbulence or drag, if small and it will add attitude. B-)

I think this project deserves it's own thread BTW. :D

Sunroof - Yes. I have found them to be the next best thing to a convertible and considerably more convenient to open/close.

Hood scoop - Sure, I like the look of the t3 ones. I find myself liking the asymmetry a lot.

Paint - Buff it out and leave it alone. In my opinion a shiny red car will draw more than enough attention just becasue it's red. On the other hand as BB points out here is your chance to show your skills. Just keep in mind that the more you showcase your skills, the more you will have to restrict the action of your right foot or you may end up afoot...

Absolutely not on the sunroof.

My personal opinion is to keep the color the same, color change never works out well unless you strip it all the way to the frame and put that on a rotisserie.

Hood scoop must be something small and tasteful and must be functional or it's B/S. T3 scoop right behind the right headlight is nice.

Thanks Woodie...
im starting to think the sunroof would be a bad idea as well. my self and dad have installed a coupple. and in his words "they last about 2-3 years then they leak like a stuck hog"

Yea im not gonna change the color... just thinking about adding either some flames or Raceing Stripes im just gonna buff the collor back cus i simi buffed a small spot back and i really like the collor (so dose my ex girlfriend who found me on Youtube and decided to try to comunicate with me. and i want nothing to do with her)

The T3 scoop idea behind the headlight is a DAMN good idea... i may look into this. got any pics of this??? or will i be the first?

i love the input guys THANKS

I've seen a nice setup with a scoop just behind the passenger side headlight, and then a cone filter on the end of the intake so it can pull cool air in through it, you could even box it in to keep it from pulling hot engine air into it. My car looked like that too, I hit it with some rubbing compound, then polish, then wash/wax and it looked 100% better.

Sunroofs are great if they don't leak. For what it's worth The one in my 95 was installed after it was a year old and still does not leak after all these years. If you take your time and prep it why should it leak? Providing the main seal doesn't get damaged. I'm going today to get my new/used one from the JY before someone else gets it!
