Okay, you've got my attention on this. It's an 85,000 mile warranty. $180 for all four $32 shipping. Plus tax. I paid $190 for Discount out-the-door. Then later, $24 for road hazard warranty on all four. So, if I take them somewhere like Discount tire, how much do they charge to mount tires if you bring your own? Or, better yet, where did you go to have them mounted and balanced? Charge? Etc.? |

Ryan, I had them mounted and balanced at the local Walmart Tire Center. I think those two services together cost $7.50 per tire back then. Now it is about $12.50 for mounting, lifetime balancing and rotation. Good luck. Fred |

A good sticky rubber wouldn't last half of that on dry surface. |

Good sticky tires don't last very long. A tire that will last 85K miles is more plastic than it is rubber and will offer little traction. |

just putting on better tires wont do everything for your car. If you want a good handling geo then start forking out the cash. |

Common sense. That's why I'm saving for a late-model Toyota Camry. With a Metro, you buy cheap, you get cheap. Period. |
