Get out the Christmas stuff (which the wife has toooo much of) and it never fails the lights don't work. Every year the same story....Be nice if their was a fast way to find the culprit. |

did the bah humbug christmas this year, but probably end up putting out the f**king lights myself. not so bad at our house, we have led stand up figures we put out, and just a few rows of lights on the front of the house. just lazy i guess. they make a pencil looking light tester at lowe's or other places that sell lights you are supposed to be able to test lights with. not much luck with ours though. i usually try for a short while, if no luck, trash and get new ones. |

I stopped using Incans for christmas lights 10 years ago. I still have my very first string of LED christmas lights. Still not one single bulb out. I put up about 4500-5000 lights for christmas (yeah I am a bit crazy) I just found some kick butt lights at 5 and below. 27.6 foot 100 warm white led's 9.1 watts $5 bought 4 if they pass my "burn test" I will buy 10 more. I highly doubt mwebb installs Christmas lights. Can you imagine them ever passing his stringent tests? |

Only use American Society of Electrical Engineers approved lights that meet the current lighting standards. UL325-12-bc-879 115 volt Not the shnit light you get at Wal mart. Good lights should scope out something light this I

Any of you remember the shiny silver chrome trees that had the light at the base that had a rotating circular disk with the blue-red-yellow-green over it? |
