Any of you remember the shiny silver chrome trees that had the light at the base that had a rotating circular disk with the blue-red-yellow-green over it?
Yeah--there was a vintage one for sale in the booth next to us at a show last weekend--pretty cool!

I was just going to say that I grew up with an aluminum Christmas tree, with blue bulbs and a color wheel. I was born and raised in SoCal. :banana

My coffee shop always has a 3' plastic tree hanging from the ceiling. With ornaments on it of course. :lol

Wow! I remember those! Some of my friends in La Canada had them, but we weren't rich enough to have one ourselves. We always had a real tree, gotten free (or nearly free) on Xmas eve, decorated with my parent's '40s vintage decorations, including those little bubble lamps and real lead-foil tinsel (mmmm, yummy!), carefully saved and re-used from year to year.

Its not even Thanksgiving in the US. And I am already tired of Christmas ads. But the lights are cool.
