Happy Thanksgiving!! My favorite of all the holidays for reasons of - 4 days off from work - Get together with family/people you like and just eat and talk - no worries about if the other person liked the gift you gave them |

Thanksgiving has changed so much over the years. I miss the days of sitting around waiting for food, now days I have yo buy most the food. This year I have to get up early to work for 3-4 hours then I can go home and eat. The one thing that will never change, my love of turkey ![]() Happy thanksgiving everyone! |

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! God knows I am thankful for the friends I have made on this forum and all the help I have received. I just did some quick math and in the time I have owned my Geo I have saved over a thousand dollars in fuel verses driving my truck. I am really thankful for that! I couldn't have done it without all of you. I hope someday I can return the favor. |

I bought a new pair of jeans from Buckle and new underwear from American Eagle. It's going to be a great Thanksgiving... When it comes to the turkey: Test, do not guess. |

My sure you take the bag-o-organs and neck out of the turkey prior to cooking!!!!! My uncle left them inside on his first try..... My mom one hour later: "Where did you put the gizzards? I cant find them in the refrigerator?" My uncle: "The what" |

My sister-in-law decided to cook some turkey leftovers so I did not have to go out in 7o weather last night to get some ground turkey. The one we got yesterday was frozen.

The people we had over last night mentioned that she went to the store the evening before and there were a LOT of people buying turkeys - frozen ones. She even said her boss every year buys her turkey frozen the day before and lets it sit in cool water all evening to thaw. |

Thanks JellyBeanDriver but I'm a male, married to a twin and she and her sister do the cooking. We live in a duplex right now so they cook for the 5 of us. I hide in my man cave.
