Baby shampoo and water is what I use! It works great. A heat gun works better but a hairdryer will work in a pinch. A metro should take about an hour the first time. Put it on the outside of the window to cut. No need to take out windows unless they are older pop out style. It's not that hard just take your time.
ok hes right but i use dawn dish soap ...

first the little dots leave on they are heat baked on the glass.
second start by cleaning the inside and outside of the glass with dawn dish soap and water 10 to 1
third take the tint on the out side off the glass...cut the tint a little larger than the glass..
then use the heat gun heat the outside of the tint use a credit card push from the center of the tint to the outside of it make sure to keep it wet when you do it or it will melt the tint to much...
keep doing it until the tint is molded to the curve of the glass...
once it is re-cut the tint to just inside the dots on the glass....
then wet the inside of the window a lot .... read it again wet it a lot....... remove the tints outer cover to show the glue... wet the glue... wet the glass again then put the tint on .....

use the credit card again push from the center out again pushing out the air bubbles under the tint make sure you keep the out side of the tint wet keep it from scratching the tint once you get all the air bubbles out after that
just clean off the water on the outside keep it with Windex and your done
