Does this unit come with GPS built in? If not, what do you have to do to add it? Please give a review on what you think of the unit also, I want one of these for my Altima, but I am leary of the quality, but I want to hear a first hand review for it. |

These units are usually rather cheap and NOT well built but are "worth the money" in a bang for the buck category. I have a similar one in my Van and I DO like it. I even connected a DTA to it so I can actually use the TV function alas Digital has "zero" and I mean ZERO functionality when in motion even 1mph is enough to completely frappe the reception. Plays DVD's fine also plays divx including off the SD card. I need to get my reverse camera connected to it. I hope it has "trigger" for it. nice units and although cheap and not the best build they appear to hold up over time without much trouble. you can get "nice" units but they will cost you a fortune. you can make Logitech X540's work in the geo (its what I used) just connect them to the preamp line out and you get your car speakers and 5.1 surround with kicking bass CHEAP :-) theater is not a bad idea. I just got one of them neat little cheap "projectors" that while dim they DO work. |

Nerys--do you have any pictures of how you set up your Logitech stuff in your GEO ? I looked them up and you are right; definitely a reasonably priced way to get some good sound in there I am sure. I am just curious as to how / where you mounted everything at. |

hmm I don't think I do. the "center console" where the shifter is? that POCKET below the radio? I cut that out and use zipties to secure the center channel their. the 2 front speakers are ziptied to my kick panels under the dash and the 2 rear channels are zip tied underneath my "shelf plastics" facing up. the woofer is sitting in the hatch. for some reason when I tried to fade the audio to the FRONT the stereo "cuts out" the preamp dramatically. so I am going to reverse my wires so back wires go to the front and front wires goto the back so I can "shift" the audio to the back while actually shifting it to the front :-) see if that works. right now its rather rear heavy. I guess most people like this I prefer a little more "front" |

Cant wait to see the photos. I use to watch pimp my ride on mtv and I just could not understand why someone would want a flat screen, game system, etc in many of the economy sub ultra mini compact cars they had. I wouldnt mind a double din navigation system that plays dvds for my geo. I guess worry its too low in the dash to watch the navigation while driving. |

My favorite was the all-in-one hot dog cooker and bun toaster. They installed it in the arm rest, I believe. I went out and got one for my nephew. Click www.dogpile.com/hot dog toaster
