Little back story: My Dad just recently purchased a 2008 Suburban Z71 and asked me to find a few bling-bling accessories online for him. Since I get cashback on Ebay and Paypal, I was more than happy to find him some things. In the process I came across a nice front license plate/badge for his Z71 that was Chrome lettering applied over a semi-gloss flat plate. Total cost for the thing was like $19 shipped to my door and it looks great. ![]() So, how does this apply to us? I thought for the quality and the price, there wasn't a better custom plate on Ebay so I contacted the seller and asked him if he could make me a similar plate, but with the "Geo" logo. He promptly replied that he would have to look and see if he had a Geo template somewhere. Well, lastnight, around 11:30, he sent me an email and asked if something like this would be OK: ![]() I replied that it's exactly what I was looking for so he's making some as we speak. I'll have mine shipped out by tomorrow morning. Agian, these are $19 shipped with Buy-it-Now. Or if you bid at the starting price and no one out bids you, they are $17. Why wait? It's just $2. Ebay seller's ID is Travsap Great communication and hey, it's someone willing to make us another aftermarket option, even if it is only a liscence plate ![]() Edited by jonathan180iq, Jan 3 2011, 10:28 AM.

I was curious why I saw everyone using two license plates @ Ohio. NY and PA does not require this. |

Oh yeah! It came in the mail today. Boy, is it pretty! The picture of it on the car doesn't do it any justice. But just look at the photo without the frame. Slick. ![]() ![]() For real, if you guys think you might want one, hit up the Ebay seller I mentioned earlier. Just an awesome guy! |

The material has to be a sticker because the plate comes in stock black. It's plastic, but it's a good quality. Hard but not brittle, and flexible but not soft, if that makes sense. |

19 dollars is grossly overpriced for that. The sticker price isn't much, vinyl doesn't cost that much, and here's a link to the tags. (I make vinyl stuff in my spare time) http://www.signwarehouse.com/p-SS-PLSTBLNK723-25.html

Shit idk why im so blank....just can't think of what they are called. but usually when you buy a car from a dealer they put a little plastic frame around your license plate with the dealers name and city. |

I mean, maybe its a little high. But that link has blank tags listed for $15, not including perfectly placed stickers and this guy is willing to custom make them in the slick black/chrome for only $4 more. A $4 difference for that kind of one-on-one customer service is worth it to me. |
