I had some ice on the windshield this morning and my wiper arm linkage (inside the cowl firewall) popped of the back of the wiper motor crank arm. The white plastic cup on the linkage looks to be ok, but how to I reattach the two together? Do you do it from above thru the cowl, or take the wiper motor out, or both? The white cup is in the linkage and the crank arm just has the bare metal ball sticking out with the back with the black rubber protective boot on it. Any ideas? I figured it out. You have to bring the linkage out thru the firewall all the way to the left as you face it. You then have leverage to snap the ball back in. Took me awhile to figure it out. |

I am glad you posted this information; I think I may have an issue with that. I am only running a driver's side wiper right now and lots of rain-x due to thinking I have an issue with my wiper linkage! Thanks |
