Good bye

Here in the Willamette valley the Oregon and Oregon State people really don't like each other. It is about 60/40 Oregon State at work. We had a green Oregon cake today served with Orange napkins. The Beaver fans called it a victory cake. LOL. Our Corvallis serviceman always wears his Oregon State hat with a pin from whoever is playing Oregon that week. He says whoever is playing the Ducks is his second favorite team. He has been wearing an Auburn hat since the civil war game here in Oregon. Two of my daughters were for Auburn only because they hate the Ducks. It was a good game though.

I dont follow sports so I am out of the loop quite a bit. I bought a Auburn sweat shirt at a thrift store a couple of weeks ago. When I wear it every one always asked me, How are we are going to do? What is the points spread? Think we will win? :smackface I had to give my self a crash course in Auburn football. Now that they have won, I wear it all the time. People give me thumbs up, wave, and smile all the time. I feel like a fraud, but hey, it is a nice sweat shirt. :banana :banana :banana

Excuse me for being redundant but it is all about the laundry. :news

Sports. I love sports. Cycling is individual, independent, has solitude, involves some mechanics and I love it. I love riding with a club. :thumb

Team sports - laundry. Obviously if you are wearing the right laundry you are accepted and loved. You may be a jerk but who cares? You are wearing the right laundry. Now, if the quarterback or star player transfers to another school and wears their laundry he will be looked upon as "an evil worshiper of satan." As you have found out billy508, making it about laundry and not your shining personality, altruistic actions or social status. :-/ :lol

As usual Mr Bent , you are correct. Purchasing such a shirt has been a enlightening experience. Now people greet me with smiles and understanding as I exhibit my Superior knowledge and intellect by wearing such a hallowed piece of Laundry. The fact that the game was played by two identities that I know very little about, in a stadium over 2000 miles away, by persons that I would be pushed to give you 2 names is of little consequence. By simply acquiring such a piece of Laundry I have been accepted into the Champions circle. I cringe at all the time I wasted on self improvement, study, volunteerism. Wear appropriate Laundry as you say, and all is good. Besides I knew a Eagle could beat a Duck. Wouldnt that be illegal in some states? :banana :banana :banana
