I am in the process of changing my 1991 geo from an automatic to a 5 speed manual trans. I removed both transmissions and flywheels, but it looks like the cranks are different. Am i missing somethin? why would they be different? i do still have the donar car here that the five speed came out of, motor is shot, do i need to change the crankshaft also? Thanks for any and all replies......Bob

No, same crank, but there's an adapter flange on the automatic between the crankshaft and the flex plate. Looks like it just presses on, parts book shows no bolts.
