Did anyone of our members come down to our nations capital and protest abortion? I did my part and joined the march today. I enjoy hearing all the chants such as "Obama, yo mama chose life!" Got to check American history museum too :thumb

Horn12007, hard to say exactly. Didn't seem as crowded as last year, but still a few hundred thousand or so showed.

Abortion was made legal near this date in 1973. It's always been held near the anniversary date of it becoming legal. It was actually in the 30's and partly sunny today. Thermal undies and a sweater was enough.

saw there was 27,000 according to washington post.....that was the only article that had any figures, so it could be way off. plus you never know for sure. one group will inflate the number and the other will deflate it.

Did michelle malkin or any of them fox news ppl speak there?

Lots of speakers, but that stuff is boring politics. I had more fun in museum than standing outside listening to blah blah politics. Plus, I was with a group of teens. Speeches aren't their cup of tea either. It's a day off school for them.

I would have loved to have gone but it simply is not financially feasible for me at this time.

As for why we protest, it is our belief that life begins at the point of conception, not birth or any time after that. As such abortion is murder. Choice is irrelevant if an unborn child is a human life. Choose not to have sex or to use several layers of birth control if you do not wish to become pregnant. Before anyone criticizes me for that stance, I am 37, have never been married and have never engaged in ANY form of sexual activity. It can be done.

do you consider masturbation abortion? I mean your sperm is potential children.

What about if someone is raped and get pregnant that way? They have to have the kid?

like I said earlier not bashing just asking questions.
