I had a dream...; feat. yellow '94 Geo Metro

Forgot His Manpurse

I had two consecutive dreams the last two nights. They were so vivid that I woke up from them wondering if it really happened.

The first dream: I dreamt of me driving a yellow '94 Geo Metro. I was driving smoothly, shifting clutchlessly (I wish), windows down, "66 AVG" on my ScanGauge II, listening to the most repetitive yet amazing techno music. Then... a loud noise, a long screech, a big bam, yelling voices, wailing sounds. My yellow '94 Geo Metro crashed into another car and is completely totaled. I woke up from that dream breathing hard and thinking to myself, "FUCK, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED!" But I was quickly reminded that it was only a dream... only a dream.

The second dream: I dreamt of me driving a yellow '94 Geo Metro on the highway. I was a lone star ruling the highway at 55 MPH. Suddenly, the Geo Metro found itself lifting off the ground slowly. It was as if I was taking off... and then I found myself flying. I looked over to the driver's and passenger's side mirrors and saw wings. I had yellow wings. It was beautiful. Somehow I was shifting through gears in the air and somehow the two horn buttons on the steering wheel were used as rudders. Then... a large Boeing airplane was charging towards me. The pilot saw me and decided to make a life-threatening U-turn just so he would not hit me. Within seconds, the Boeing airplane crashed and burned on the ground, killing thousands of people who were on board and on the ground. I was shocked at first... then smiled. "At least my Geo Metro is okay." I landed in a gas station and filled up my car then I flew away again thanks to my yellow wings. Then something was wailing. I woke up and realized it was my alarm clock. Time for school.

The interesting thing about the dreams is that I drove the same yellow '94 Geo Metro except one had wings. And for some reason, "Sunshine" is a very fitting name for the car. I think it is time for me to find a yellow '94 Geo Metro... with wings.
