Sweet. I need to get new tires myself... Just finished driving nearly 400 miles about an hour ago, it was AGONIZING in the rain with the bald tires.

Care to remind them that Matt Kenseth drives aFord and is from Cambridge, Wisconsin plus Paul Menard drives a Chevrolet and comes from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They drive cars for NASCAR and their cars have air dams on them. They call it aerodynamics. What a concept. Nice low profile tires. |

I like the rims, kind of look like the stock swift gt rims. What brand is MB? Is your engine the G10? if so how does it pull away from stops with the larger wheels? |

thanks to all for the kudos!!! discount tires carries the mb line exclusively....these are the five x models...i also like the seven x models. yes i have the g10 (3/5) it takes off fine from a stop..actually 1st gear is useable now, not so friggin short. yes the pickup is diminished slightly say....15% but...the rpm drop on the highway is sooooo worth it!! i dropped 300-400 rpm on the high side, with 4.39 gears that is alot at 70 mph 1st, 2nd, and 3rd feel more useable...4th is where the 15% drop in acceleration seems to occorre. 5th is ok i just need to install my +6 sprocket and the tourque will be back! |

Checked out discount tires website and they have some good prices on those MB 5/7 spoke rims. I think your 5 spoke rims also look a little like the five spoke mitsubishi eclipse rims around the 97 yr., only nicer. They really dress up your ride. I bet it cruises nice out on the highway.

on mine the 185 65 15 tires do not clear , they rub . the largest i can fit in the front is 185 60 15 and i can fit 185 65 15 or 195 60 15 in the rear nothing larger the Blizzacks are outstanding snow tires but get them off when the weather changes , the soft rubber just melts off in the summer time are you running at 50 psi ? in the tires ? looks good but i suspect that if you fabricated a clear cover for the space between your spokes or to fit over the entire wheel , your FE would improve Edited by mwebb, Feb 5 2011, 01:30 PM.
