I finally broke down and replaced the balding, flat spotted, seperating tires that were on my car. They were kumos that was previously on the car. They were rather slippery in wet weather and not too much more grippie in dry. I kept them aied at about 35psi. If I wasnt careful I could spin just taking off.

As I approached 65mph the car increased in vibration, noises, rattles, etc. I felt like when I hit 88mph I would travel back in time. I assumed that was the "metro" experience.

Well, got the new tires on. I was unsure about them since I have never heard of them and "Fred The Chineese Tire Guy" was off that day. I could not find anything bad online so went with them.

Wow, it felt like a new car. The ride was softer, the car is velcroed to the road, even at 45psi inflation. It seems to get even smoother as you speed up.

Wow, I am really impressed.

Now for the SOB that torques the lug nuts to 600 ft lbs :banghead Thats another story.
