Have a 2000 Metro. Every time I step on the brakes the whole car shakes, some times violently. Tried replacing front rotors and pads. Problem went away for about a month, but now back again. Anyone have an idea on what to check next?

If it only shakes during braking, then the rotors are warped or you have loose suspension/steering parts. |

Welcome to your new forum, theMaj! You are from Wiscowsin, check for rust on the frame horns around the half shafts. Also check the rear suspension for rust and or broken or loose parts. I'd jack the front end up and test the wheel bearings by grabbing the tire at 12/6 and push/pull and well, all around also just to check for movement. |
