I agree, don't do it, the biggest problem is safety! Your life isn't worth a few POSSIBLE MPG.

I am curious about that tofuball. what's so dangerous? your heat source would obviously be your coolant. max temp 220'F

how would that in anyway be dangerous? auto ignition of gasoline requires over 500'F

Tofu, did you drill the injector ports in your head on your own? If so did you make a jig or whatever its called for it? I want to do this to a spare head, because I would like to run a MS when I turbo my Metro. Are you using MS1 or MS2? If you are using the MS2 are you still going to run the stock spark or mount a trigger wheel somewhere and then use the MS for spark. I am interested in your MS progress because this is what I want to do.

That's not hot enough. My heat source would have been exhaust gas.

Gas will ignite hotter because it is under pressure

Ideal is heated gas + direct injection

I was planning on doing it on my own but the machine shop offered to do it perfectly for less then my drill bit would have cost.

I am running MS2. I will mount a trigger wheel.

as far as a trigger wheel you can grab a lower crank pulley from a 98+ 1.3 (the 16v engine) it has a crank gear with 32 teeth (IIRC) instead of the 6 found in the g10 you'll need the 98+ oil pan/pump to hold the sensor too.

I have a trigger wheel I will mount on the pulley. I'm going to just cut off the AC part of the pulley and mount the trigger wheel right on that.

Here are some pictures of the exhaust setup, here is the muffler with the hangers welded on to it:

Here is the dent I made in the presilencer so the shifter wouldn't hit it:

I'll have to paint that and the welds so they wont rust :)

A lot of this thread consists of me waiting on parts. The stupid store I bought the key from has sent no less then four status updates, but no key.

Awesome.

Driving my Camry really hurts the wallet. 17.3mpg vs a possible 60?

This thread is months long and has absolutely nothing to show for it.

Not only does it not even have results, but it doesn't even have a baseline!

And this stupid new key hasn't come in the mail yet! ARGH!
