What is the difference between an XFI engine and the engine in a regular metro, if any?
Camshaft and timing gear.
Camshaft and pistons.

ECU is too, if you count that.
Passenger side mirror delete. :D

THIS THREAD IS FOR TOFU TO POST PICTURES OF HIS CAR, YOU GUYS HUSH.
Forums are for discussion, otherwise I'd just post all this stuff on my website.

I've got to redo the whole thread anyway, it just got too confusing and long if anyone wants to read through it.
I'm going to split it into separate threads (engine, exhaust, rims, etc) and just make this thread link to them along a calender in the first post.

Passenger side mirror delete. :D
That was optional as it's not legal in all 50 states, just some.

Don't ask because I don't know which states do and which don't allow the passenger side mirror to be removed.

Many states require "a mirror", many more "two mirrors". Most have some sort of wording that stresses outside mirrors on both sides if the view directly out the rear window is blocked. I read nothing that hints of any state requiring a right hand outside mirror on a car.

Ah, so the wording of the laws don't specify the mirror to be outside OR inside... Nice :thumb

So I can't legally remove my driver's mirror or rear view mirror. Wasn't planning on it, but good to know ...

That's too bad man, in KY you must have a left hand side mirror and a rear view mirror, BUT it doesn't say that the left side mirror must be on the outside of the car :rocker

Got the coolant system together with the block heater, got more of the wiring harness together and misc stuff together, I took it out of the milk crate to re-attach the inspection cover.

Are you not going to wrap the rest of your wiring job, or are you not finished yet?

Not finished yet. It'll be wrapped like the parts of the harness you see that are already wrapped.

Well, one of the head gaskets blew on my daily driver (v6 Camry) and I don't know if it's really worth fixing.
So the project is on hold for a bit till I find another car or fix this one. Anyone near me selling cheap? :)
Unfortunately I'm too far from the finish line to just fix up the XFi :/
