Driving the van would cost me $350 - $400, round trip. The Metro $100. But depending on demand for horns, I may take a week off work to deliver stuff up north (after Geos on the Gulf). But I'll have to make at least $1000 for that. And I'm very serious about getting those horns! At least I can overnight at my aunt's house so I save on hotel costs.

At this point it looks like I'm taking the Metro.

I'd take the Metro. Just go for fun, maybe sell some things to make your money back for the trip.

Only one more Saturday to go!!!!! Just wanted to bump it up a bit. Looking forward to the event. Just a thought. I would like to change my Headlights(93 vert) over to sealed beams. If anyone has the parts to do it, if you could bring them with you I would be glad to pay you . Long range weather forecast is looking pretty good but the weather changes very quickly around here. Come on down!!

I have good news and bad news:

Good news first:

I'm definately going
I got my altenator/eating belt issue fixed
I got a brand new radiator
I had an exhaust put on it

Bad news:

Car MIGHT have a blown headgasket
The temp gets up to 220-230 and stays there
I'm going to get the oil changed sometime this week, it looked like something "might" be in it. :(

I was planning on driving it to my buddy's shop (same guy who did turbo stuff) and having him build me an intake pipe, and hard pipes for the radiator, however i need to diagnose this running hot issue. I bought a brand new 180* t-stat tomorrow.

I'll be there with my daughter Britney, but we decided to only bring one car (the white 90 metro).

Extremely excited to see that you'll be making it 90! Taking one car only makes sense. If you want a place to hang out for a bit, I live maybe 5 minutes off of I65.

Sealed beam parts seem to in demand and I can get those cheap here. I'll get as many as I can this weekend. Also bumper brackets.
