ok I decided to take the pistons out to clean them or possibly replace them... definitely replacing the rings. How in the hell do i get the oil pan off.. it looks like only 3 sides have bolts and the 4th side is covered by something else.

There are a couple of studs with nuts on them instead of bolts.

Just be careful to not nick the rod journals on the crank. Use a cut off broom handle or something and push them out the top.

Take pictures of the main caps, notice which way the caps are facing, notice which way the pistons are facing.

Also, I believe there's an oil hole on one side of the rod, make sure the oil hole goes back on the same side of the block

Ok so I'm about ready to put it all back together theres a hole with something on the engine black with some thing that might be a valve or a sensor that looks like it unscrews with a flat head screwdriver... do i need to do anything with that?

Read the first post in this thread, I think you are speaking of the oil check valve. Make sure it is there when you put it back together. Third picture, first post.
