I have a 97 metro lsi with the big block 4 cylinder. i bought the car about 6 months ago for 125 bucks they said it wouldnt run. They had diff mechanics look at it couldnt figure it out i open hood n see an alarm removed that put in a new batt and bingo it runs great. "it sat for a year" now it tried to die a few times on me on the highway like it was starved for fuel floor it it would eventually pick back up. It died on my fiance and ive checked it out and no fuel out injector. Has good pressure out of pump as far as i know good spark to just injector not firing. WTF please help. :drivin

Welcome to your new forum, allynjones541! :coffee

Click on 98 died at intersection. There is an injector test described that should identify the problem.

I have a 97 metro 1.0 and I had an issue with the fuel injector wiring harness. The was a tech bulletin out on the issue. It was like a dissimilar metals/ heat / dissimilar expansion thing. It would start up fine cold, run fine, then get to the sore of something and sit for a while and it wouldn't start. Had to get colder before contact was made again and it started. Replacing the wiring harness fixed it. It was like not enough fuel was getting through, tha's what it felt like.

it was a loaded question
if either pin has 12 volts positive and the other does not , then the coil inside the injector is open and
the injector is KA KA.

the coil in the injector is the coil of an electromagnet when the ECM grounds the other pin the electromagnet energizes and pulls a steel iron pintle off of a seat allowing fuel to flow ,
