sorry about the postings of this dilema i have. well i took off the carburated manifold and installed a intake with a throttle body. it fit on there and some of the hoses and one connector fit. my problem is it won't start and it doesn't seem to be getting fuel into the throttle body. woody's reply makes alot of sense on them unlikley fitting cause it seems the 95' throttle body has the TPS on it and i can't find any connector in the wiring harness to fit on it. any suggestions on getting this to work. my wife spent $100.00 on this intake/throttle body and is blamming me for this stall on making her car run and i've been working on cars for 24 years off and on and i'm in school getting my associates degree in auto mechanics and i'm offended when she makes me feel like i don't know what i'm doing. i know no matter how long you've been working on cars theres always something yet to learn and thats why i'm blessed to have found this group(you guys) and i humbly am asking for someones help on my delima. thanks everyone guitarranger11 |

If nobody asked before then it would probably help with a lot of pictures. All sides of the TB and Carb. , the flanges, the connections, anything connected to them, your engine bay. That way it may be very apparent what is possible and what is not. You could even use some of Jittney's diagrams at http://geometroforum.com/topic/4021533/ Personally, you can spout years and models all day long but I'm a visual learner and I understand the concept but reality is a whole new can of worms sometimes. Might be a good idea to create a folder in Photobucket and dump all the pics in there. Delete it later if you wish but nice 600x400 pixel pics would be nice if done close up and you can post thumbnails in this thread if there are a lot. Images posting: http://geometroforum.com/topic/1322668/ But if you had a true carburetor on there before then nothing on the wiring harness for a computer should attach to a carb. I have a '91 and I put the newer engine in and the wiring harness was taped to the firewall. I laid out the harness and thought the TPS connector was on the drivers side but it reached to the passenger side. Alternator connection was simple and other connections were a matter of extending the plug to it's full length and seeing where it would connect to - either side of the engine. Would this help?
