That was so cool! :popcorn Ratchet Strap, with minimal wrestle, and it's out! :thumb

Nice work! Please show us more. :popcorn
Yeah those were straps from my ATV ramps which I also used to load the car onto the trailer (yay for little cars). Haha, I had them on the forks of our skid steer but realized that just as long as I could use the forks to support, we could just wiggle it up ourselves :) No need to use the 2 ton lifting capacity of the uni :rocker

Hey guys it's been awhile. I just finished all of my finals as of this morning and will walk for graduation Saturday. I'm pretty pumped.

I'm also pumped b/c I had a few hours this afternoon to hook everything up to the new engine and fired her up! First try and she ran!

heres the "but"

I took it for a spin around the block and discovered that it feels as though all power is cut out when I begin to accelerate past like 5-10 mph. Feels like a fuel problem, which is where this picture comes into play. The only thing I wasn't able to put back together was this sensor of sorts on the passenger side of the intake manifold. What is it? Where did that wire go? and is that whats causing my power cut??? :banghead

The sensor, on the side of the intake manifold is for the A/C. The plug is hiding on the harness. It's there.

Work from memory :hmm , which can be short :lol , it may be on the passanger side fender harness. Or maybe you tucked it against the fire wall upon removal. :dunno

We deleted the A/C, on my Wife's car, last summer. So it's been a while since I've looked. I Can look, when I get home tonight, if you don't find the connection.

You mentioned that it Had working A/C before, right?

Any ideas as to what seems to be choking out the engine? It seems like such a smooth running engine...fuel issues?

Did all your sensors "click" when reconnected? Like the MAP & IAT sensor? Sounds like somethings not full connected.

Hmm I guess I'll go over all of those again today. Is there anywhere I could find a diagram or something for the wiring harness?

You had this engine out... did you do anything to the timing belt? Your spark plug wires should be 1-3-2 on the distributor cap, not the manual's picture. Check the ground wires on the intake manifold above the alternator. Or, just go over everything you did on the engine swap. :-/
