It's low. But it should run fine. You'll want a rebuild for best mileage.

40+ even with those numbers. A cylinder normally don't start missfiring until it gets below 90.

Aye, you would probably find you're more of a mechanic than you think if you opened her up and started poking it with a stick :)

And yeah, I have to agree with Johnny on the MPG as I said in the other post :) I get 42-49 depending on how much I drive on the hilly road at 60mph on my way to work. The big difference with my engine is that it really has to work to get up those hills. I'll be testing my transmission ratio next week or the week after that but it runs like a 3.79, or a 4.10 with a dieing engine :) Morale of this story, your engine should run fine with those numbers. >.>

BTW to more appropriately answer the thread question, 170-210 is "normal" more like 185-210 is "our dream G10"

And as always, make sure you did the compression test with the throttle held wide open or your numbers could be low by about 30 psi or so.

OK I did my compression test with the throttle held close and I got 150 I'm going to do it again with the throttle. Open hopefully it gets better ( cross my finger)

It's very common that people forget to do that. I guarantee your numbers will increase, roughly 30 psi, maybe more, which would point to your engine being perfectly healthy.
