Trouble starting after engine off coast

I typically do a lot of pulse and glide driving. I have stopped recently after on my way back home, I killed my engine to glide to a red light (I have a kill switch which cuts the fuel injectors without reseting the ECM), and the engine wouldn't start back up for a few minutes when the light turned green. I figured it might be a one time thing. The next day it happened again about, on my way to work before the engine had warmed up, so it wasn't like it was due to over heating or anything like that. I have been driving it for a week with no engine off coasting and have had no problems starting the car at all. I would like to get the better mileage I was achieving before. Does anyone know of something I should look at to identify the issue and prevent it in the future?
