Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I just recently fixed my A/C (It was just a relay thank god). It gets cold and blows hard I just dont think it was made for 120 degree Arizona weather. When it cools down a little in the fall I will be painting the car silver... I think. Does anyone have any suggestions on fuel mileage additions I could add to the vehicle to get better mpgs? I'm consistently getting 41-44 mpg EVERY Tank. I would like to know if someone knows how to get 50+ mpgs out of this thing.

what was the hardest part of the rebuild
To be honest taking it apart was the hardest part :beer . I really had no idea what I was doing :-/ I was following the haynes manual and taking everyones 2 cents from the forum :type . But physically the hardest part was taking the intake manifold off :banghead ... the bolts and nuts on the underside are hell. Keep in mind I spent a total of only $60 on tools for this project at farm and fleet, and $5 at Auto zone for a specific socket. I rebuilt the top and bottom... spent $250 on parts. $150 at the machine shop to rebuild the head and $150 for a new cat convert. to pass emissions. I also only bought it for $400 :banana . The Alternator went out a couple weeks later so $35 at the junk yard for a new alternator, and I also pulled an antenna and all the relays in the cars at the dump. There wasn't much usable parts. I would very much like to buy another one and try to make a FAST Geo LOL. :drivin
