Hi all, I have been checking this site out for a couple of weeks and learning about the gm. I have also been looking at CL all up and down CA. for price ranges and conditions of listed GMs. Fully a wide range of samples. I just located a 95 GM real clean, Very minor dings around the car, tires are great, one owner 115k, no new paint all orig. no rust, no leaks, AC, radio, interior very clean, seat cover on the driver seat, the dash is abit cancerous looking, asking $2895. This car is at a consignment dealership which was closed when I went by this evening. Don`t know if it is a three or a four cylinder yet. tried to look under her front bumper to check her pipes and got my nose tweeked and never found out. I`m thinking this is not too bad of a deal. I will be driving this car about 500miles a week, hopefully alittle better/more pricy car will pay off in the long run. What do you guys with experience think? Can`t wait to here.. I would keep looking, at that price point it would probably pay more to look for a less pretty car with similar miles a grand or so less in cost. Welcome to the forum

Welcome aboard! Obviously the decision is yours to make and likely depends on how much time/energy you want to initially put into the car versus when you expect to be able to use it. The sooner you "need" to use it the more you are likely to have to give for it. If it were me I might look for something at a lower price point - but; I have purchased my metros when they were plentiful and gas wasn't approaching $5/gallon. The purchasing climate was definitely different! Good Luck on your quest! |

Welcome to GMF! Ultimately it's up to you. If it's ready to go and has a 3/5 it might be worth it considering the gas prices. |

Welcome to the forum! Like the others said, if it's a 3 cylinder/5 speed and needs absolutely nothing done to it to make it road worthy, then MAYBE it's worth the price. For me, it would have to be absolutely rust free, and when you open the doors, that new car smell still hits you in the face. ![]() wizard93 |
