None of these cars have direct injection.
Or a carburetor.

unsure about "direct" injection but i know there are injectors on the 98. And yes, the 94 has a carb on it or better known as throttle body.

94 has throttle body injection.

98 has MPFI.

Direct injection is a relatively "new" thing to be putting in cheap cars.

Resko, a 'throttle body' injector isn't a carb, they resemble carbs, and more or less dump fuel like carbs, but a carb is a completely different beast controlled more by a float and bowl and gravity than by a computer determining when to open it up. Just saying.

You could fix up the 94, brakes and all, and drive it while you're fixing up the 98. Then when the 98 is finished, sell either car and keep the one you like the best. I'd personally keep the 94 if the body isn't too rusted.

This is what im planning to do. Im going to redo the whole brakes on the 94. pads, calipers, rotors, and lines. Since the master cylinder was dry i dont know if there was a leak in a line or the bad caliper leaked the fluid in 4 years.
Frame is in great condition! Better then the 98 but.... The front drivers side fender needs replaced as does the rear passenger door. Both are rusted pretty bad. I found the fender on ebay but the door is proving very hard. Anyone have a rear passenger door for a 94 4 door base?

Then when im done, most likely i will sell or junk the 98. It has its unforeseen issues i didn't notice when buying it:(
