Hello all!

Bought this car with the engine halfway torn down.... Trying to put it all back together now, and I have a couple quick questions.

Can anyone tell/show me where exactly this piece fits? It had wires mounted to it that seemingly run over the top of the timing belt cover down and definitely plug into oil pressure sensor, etc. on the front lower side of things when looking into the engine bay.. Having trouble with it.. A visual from someone with one of these 1.3L engines would greatly help!

Also, can anyone tell me what this part is called? Need to replace it, but I can't search for it anywhere as I'm not sure what it's called...

Thanks everyone!
Peace, Tyler

Yeah, that stuff goes on top of the timing belt cover. The plenum attaches to the air intake. Look in the Tech Section Parts Catalogs, or, better yet, go to www.gmpartsgiant.com, enter your VIN and look at their catalog. Once you get the parts listing, click on INFO for the picture. It will pop up in a new tab.

Sorry for the delayed reply!

Thanks for the info, specifically the catalog! Was able to quickly locate the bracket location on timing belt cover. Helped immensely with all of the hoses as well, since I was going into it blind to how it all was originally installed (and this being my first engine pull/install). Not sure that I would've been able to confidently make all of those connections by myself without those diagrams... Huge help!

Finished everything Friday morning, and it's been on the road! Glad to have this part of the process finished after several weeks :)

....Now I have to find whatever issue is causing erratically rough idle. Will probably start another thread for that after I run through a few things that I'm already thinking.

Thanks again for the help, Glenn! :thumb
