I finally found a throttle body for my 91 metro. My new problem is I found a throttle body off a 92 metro and it seems to be the right one but some of the connections from my wiring harness don't match some of the connections on the 92 throttle body but a couple do fit. Do I need to put a 92 harness on my car or is it possible to splice my harness wires to the connections that fit onto the 92 throttle body (i clipped the connectors and about 6 inches of wire from the 92 metro ) please help I'm so close to having this bad boy running the way it should thanks everyone |

I think you should buy the right year throttle body so you don't run into wiring problems and start throwing codes. Ken.... |

This has been very confusing from the start. He keeps saying his wiring harness had connections for multiport fuel injection. A plug for three or four injectors if I understand what he is saying. If that is the case I am really confused as to what he has. |

start fresh...92 TBI, 92 wiring harness and computer. it seems that way you know everything will match, and not have to deal with computer or wiring problems in the future... |

Well, since you already have the TB at hand, it makes sense that you would want to give it a try. So, the thing you're aiming for is....to make this TB as close (if not exactly) like the 91 setup. I don't know what connectors from the original (if any) 91 TB you have. It would be quite helpful at this point if you posted some pictures (or the link to your online album) In addition, please post the part numbers of the connectors. We'll do what we can.
